South Plainfield, New Jersey: Crisdel Group, Inc. was selected by its client, Kiewit-Shea Constructors, AJV, the construction contract for installation of a 6,800-linear foot 20” force main for the dewatering system to aide construction of the new bypass tunnel.
The major work item we produced was a 20” diameter butt-fused HDPE force main. The scope of work is a vital part of the precursory work required to construct a bypass tunnel under the Hudson River. The tunnel is designed to bypass a damaged section of the Roundout-West Branch Tunnel.
