South Plainfield, New Jersey: Crisdel has been awarded the asphalt paving for bridge approaches for multiple structures on various Pennsylvania state routes in PennDOT’s East Region, Districts 4 and 5.
The Rapid Bridge Replacement Project began in 2013 after PennDOT analyzed the aging bridge inventory. The Department of Transportation realized that they had limited funds and resources to repair the bridges. Thus, a public-private partnership was formed with Plenary Walsh Keystone Partners. PennDOT is in the process of replacing 558 of the state’s 4,000 deficient bridges.
