9/11 MEMORIAL

Crisdel Group was honored to be chosen to be part of this project.  This new memorial consisted of a stainless steel beam with (56) Glass Monoliths that each represent a City of Hoboken Resident that lost their lives during the tragic events of the 9/11 Attacks.  The monoliths are backlit by custom and programmable LED light fixtures.  This project was constructed in an active park and recreation area along the Hoboken Waterfront.  Interaction with the general public was critical in order to maintain access to the site as well as to ensure the site was treated with the appropriate reverence.

Major Work Items: Site work for construction of the 9/11 Memorial.  Our work included site security, removal of existing landscaping, excavation for memorial foundations, install new reinforced concrete foundations, install new electrical service, conduits & programmable LED lighting for monument, install new landscaping & irrigation, install SS memorial plaques throughout the site and install hardscape including granite pavers and curbs.
