MANAGEMENT TEAM

As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Frank F. Criscola is responsible for overseeing and guiding the strategic planning of Crisdel, including, but not limited to finance, mentoring and succession planning.

Frank has accumulated over 60 years of construction experience working in a variety of rolls from laborer, cement mason, foreman and estimator up until he founded Crisdel in 1968.

Frank attended Newark College of Engineering, where he studied Civil Engineering and has been certified as an Asphalt Paving Construction Technologists by the New Jersey Society of Asphalt Technologists.

In addition to his duties at Crisdel, Frank has served the New Jersey construction industry as a past member of the Board of Directors for the New Jersey Asphalt Pavement Association (NJAPA).

Frank has been recognized by his peers having been inducted into in the NJAPA Hall of Fame in 2009 and by being honored by the NJ Alliance for Action as an Eagle Award winner as the recipient of the 2015 Ellis S. Vieser Lifetime Achievement Award.

Frank is passionate all things Crisdel and is proud to see the company flourish from where it all began in 1968. Frank attributes his success and the success of Crisdel on all of the employees who have helped build Crisdel to what it is today and to all the clients that gave him an opportunity to prove Crisdel’s worth as an entrusted partner in construction. Frank is especially proud of the succession of Crisdel’s second-generation leadership entrusted to his sons and looks forward to continued success for his employees and grandchildren bringing Crisdel into the future.

As President and Chief Operating Officer, Frank A. Criscola is responsible for the strategic planning and operational functions at Crisdel, including, but not limited to implementing and enforcing company standards, finance, hiring, staffing, and overseeing administrative functions.

Frank has accumulated over 25 years of experience in the heavy highway construction industry and has served in various capacities at Crisdel Group, including, but not limited to: Executive Vice President, Estimator, Project Manager, Project Superintendent and construction laborer.

Frank is a graduate of Boston University’s Questrom School of Business, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Operations Management.

In additional to his educational certificates, Frank holds a Certified General Contractor’s License issued by the State of Florida, Department of Business and Professional Regulation (License No. CGC1524247) and has earned a certificate as an Asphalt Paving Construction Technologists issued by the New Jersey Society of Asphalt Technologists.

Mr. Criscola currently serves as an officer, in the capacity of Secretary/Treasurer for the Utility and Transportation Contractors Association of New Jersey (UTCA), where he had previously served as President of the organization from 2009 to 2010.

In addition to his responsibilities as a UTCA Officer and Board Member, Frank represents the UTCA in the following capacity; Chairman of the Labor Committee, Vice-Chairman of the Parkway/Turnpike and Port Authority Committees, member of the Executive Committee, member of the Asphalt Paving Committee and member of the Budget Committee. Frank also represents the UTCA as a Trustee for the Heavy and General Laborers, Local 472 and Local 172, Welfare, Pension and Annuity Plan Funds.

Outside of the construction industry, Mr. Criscola is an active member of the Pottersville Volunteer Fire Company, where he has previously served its member as President.

Frank is passionate about the construction industry and all of the challenges and rewards it provides. He is highly motivated to continue the legacy of Crisdel into a third generation of continuance by never accepting status quo and constantly improving operations.

As Executive Vice President, Michael J. Criscola is responsible strategic planning, business development, customer relations, human resource management as well as assisting in the overall management of the daily operations at Crisdel.

Michael has accumulated over 20 years of experience in the construction industry and has served in various capacities for Crisdel, including Project Manager, Project Superintendent and heavy construction laborer.

Michael is a graduate of Rollins College, where he earned a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Anthropology.

In addition to his responsibilities with Crisdel, Michael currently serves on the Executive Committee and as a Board of Director for the New Jersey Asphalt Pavement Association (NJAPA) and represents the NJAPA as a Trustee for the Construction Industry Advancement Program of New Jersey (CIAP). Michael also represents Crisdel in his role as a Heavy Highway Representative for the Board of Trustees for the Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey (ACCNJ).

Outside of the construction industry, Michael channels his passion for sport fishing towards volunteering on various fishing related non-profit organizations. Michael represents The International Game Fish Association (IGFA) as a Trustee on the IGFA Board of Trustees, serves on the Board of Directors for the Guides Trust Foundation and serves as the Chairman of the Gold Cup Invitational Tarpon Tournament. In addition, Michael is a founding member and Board of Trustee for the Navesink & Shrewsbury River Fishing Club.

Michael is passionate about the construction industry, Crisdel’s employees, its clients and the opportunity to grow the company both in terms of geography and in terms of services provided so that there are continuous development opportunities for employees and the next generation.

As Human Resources Administrator, Tina-Marie Berardi is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the human resource department for both the New Jersey and Florida offices. Tina-Marie works closely with the corporate executives, general counsel and risk manager at Crisdel to ensure regulatory compliance and to fulfill the needs of Crisdel’s employees.

Tina-Marie is responsible for the onboarding of new hires, providing employees with appropriate technology devices required for their job function, maintaining personnel files, managing employee benefits, FMLA, reporting of new hires to applicable agencies, submission of IRS Form 8850’s, submission of 1095’s for Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting, reporting of 401K deductions, recruitment, marketing, training and off-boarding.

Prior to joining Crisdel Group Tina-Marie has over 20 years of experience as an Office Manager for a financial services company responsible for training employees, managing payroll, employee benefits, onboarding and off boarding of employees, setting up technology, managing the licensing and appointments of financial advisors, managed accounts payable and receivable, handled year-end financial reporting.

Tina-Marie has held a New Jersey Life & Health Insurance Agent License, a Series 6 Securities License and currently holds a New Jersey Real Estate Sales Person license.

Helping ensure that employees have everything they need to be successful in their positions is what drives Tina-Marie.

As CFO, Liane Feyas is responsible for overseeing Crisdel’s accounting and financial activities, managing outside financial firms supporting the operational functions of the company and serving as a strategic advisor to the CEO.

Liane has accumulated 30 years of experience in the accounting industry working as a CPA for one of New Jersey’s largest advisory, tax and accounting firms. During her career, Liane has gained experience in tax accounting, financial accounting, performing internal audits, evaluation of internal controls, preparing financial statements and working with state and federal tax agencies. In addition to gaining general accounting experience, Liane has worked with construction clients most of her career, including over 20 years as a lead accountant on Crisdel’s account, gaining a broad range of experience in construction and real estate accounting services.

Liane is a graduate of Seton Hall University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.

In additional to her educational certificates, Liane holds a Certified Public Accounting License issued by the State of New Jersey. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Outside of her work, Liane is passionate about fitness and is active in running and weightlifting. Liane enjoys all things outdoors, especially in the warmer months. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends.

Liane is equally passionate about Crisdel, proclaiming that it was one of the best decisions along her career path to transition to the client side and accept the role as Crisdel’s first Chief Financial Officer.

As Area Manager for Crisdel’s regional office in Tampa, Florida, Raul Gonzalez is responsible for overseeing local operational functions including, but not limited to implementing and enforcing company quality & safety standards, hiring, staffing, project management and various administrative functions. Raul also works hand in hand with Crisdel’s business development, estimating and preconstruction departments to ensure the need of Crisdel’s clients are met on all levels.

Mr. Gonzalez has accumulated almost 30 years of experience in the heavy highway construction industry and has served in various capacities at Crisdel Group in the past twenty years, including, but not limited to: Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer & Project Superintendent.

Mr. Gonzalez is a graduate of Rutgers University – College of Engineering, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.

In additional to his educational certificates, Mr. Gonzalez holds a Certified General Contractor’s License and a Certified Underground Utility & Excavation Contractor’s License both issued by the State of Florida, Department of Business and Professional Regulation (License Nos. CGC1524248 & CUC 1225609) and a Certified Fire Line Class V License (License No. FPC19-000103) issued by the Florida State Fire Marshall and has earned certificates as an Asphalt Paving Construction Technologist issued by the New Jersey Society of Asphalt Technologists and as a Concrete Placement Technologist issued by the New Jersey Chapter of the American Concrete Institute. Mr. Gonzalez is also a Florida Department of Environmental Protection Certified Storm Water, Erosion & Sedimentation Control Inspector and a New Jersey DOT Certified Traffic Control Coordinator.

Raul takes great pride in applying his engineering knowledge and passion for construction on a daily basis to ensure Crisdel’s continued success and to nurture Crisdel’s culture & brand while maintaining quality and safety standards at the highest level possible.

As Head of Preconstruction, Barry Hill is responsible for overseeing the operational functions of the Estimating Department for Crisdel’s New Jersey and Florida offices. His responsibilities include, but are not limited to; implementing policies and procedures for the department, staffing, training, managing the bid schedule, budget assistance and development, construction feasibility reviews, value engineering, project risk analysis, bidding and maintaining client and vendor relations.

With over 20 years of experience estimating in the aviation, bridge, marine, rail, road and sitework sectors of the civil construction industry, the last 13 years of which have been with Crisdel, Barry has overseen the successful biding of projects in value up to $200 million throughout the Florida, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania markets.

Barry’s vast experience includes projects for various public sector agencies as well as projects for industry leading construction managers, general contractors and clients in the commercial, educational, entertainment, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, mining, pharmaceutical, sports, transportation and utility industries.

Mr. Hill is a graduate of Seton Hall University, Stillman School of Business, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. In addition to his educational certificates, Barry is an active member with the Utility and Transportation Contractors Association of New Jersey.

Barry recognizes the value of mentorship and makes it a priority to nurture interns and new hires to guide them towards a successful career in the construction industry.

As in many cases, a client’s first interaction with Crisdel is with its preconstruction team. Barry’s primary goal is to ensure that the client’s needs are met by assessing how Crisdel can best serve the client by putting together an estimating team that will be the best fit for a particular project.

As corporate Risk Manager, Chris Lubertowicz is responsible for developing, maintaining and enforcing Crisdel’s health and safety programs as well as managing risk controls relating to automobile liability, general liability and workers compensation and employers liability. Chris works hand in hand with Crisdel’s executives, general counsel, human resources and insurance carriers to ensure that Crisdel maintains its focus on risk mitigation across all divisions.

Chris has worked in the construction industry for over eleven years. Upon graduating from college, Chris started his career at Crisdel in logistical support and worked his way up the ranks serving in the roles of Construction Safety Coordinator, Health and Safety Manager to his current role as Risk Manager.

Chris is a graduate of Saint Peter’s University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In addition to his educational credentials, Chris holds a Construction Health and Safety Technician credential through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (ID No. CHST-13970) as well as obtaining the following safety certifications; OSHA 30, CPR and First Aid, Confined Space, Trenching and Excavation, Fall Protection, Asbestos and Lead Awareness, Forklift Operations and Rigging and Handling. Chris also serves as a member of the Safety Committee for the Utility and Transportation Contractors Association of New Jersey.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys staying active by heading to the gym or partaking in long runs. Chris is also an avid reader and loves adding to his ever-growing library.

Chris believes that with hard work and a positive attitude anything is possible. He promotes health and safety on all jobsites, which he believes makes for a more efficient and productive environment for both Crisdel and their clients.

As General Counsel, Jason P. Pedalino is responsible for handling and overseeing the multitude of legal and regulatory needs a large construction company such as Crisdel must navigate on a daily basis.

Before joining Crisdel, Mr. Pedalino spent his career practicing in the field of commercial litigation, focusing primarily on construction, surety and fidelity litigation. He brought to Crisdel his extensive experience counseling contractors and subcontractors, including utility and heavy highway contractors, public and private owners, condominium associations, design professionals and sureties in a wide variety of transactions and disputes at both of the trial and appellate levels, as well as in alternative dispute resolution tribunals.

Mr. Pedalino has experience handling complex commercial matters including those involving contract drafting and negotiation, contract disputes, construction defaults, bid protests, delay and extra work claims, surety and fidelity bond claims, lien law rights, construction defect claims, contract completion issues, creditor rights in bankruptcy, design disputes, professional malpractice claims, bad faith claims and construction trust fund claims.

Jason is a 1995 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a cum laude graduate of Suffolk University Law School in Boston where he was awarded a Juris Doctor degree in 1998. He is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of New Jersey, as well as New York and Massachusetts State Courts.

Jason is a member of the American and New York State Bar Association, as well as the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Construction Law Subcommittee. He is also a member of the Utility and Transportation Contractors Association of New Jersey, the New Jersey Asphalt Pavement Association, Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey and the Association of Corporate Counsel. He has been a lecturer for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and various industries associations and an instructor of a construction contracts course at Middlesex County College.

Outside of the instruction industry, Jason volunteers his time coaching various youth sports and serves as President of his town’s Little League program, in addition to pursuing outdoor activities with his three sons.

After practicing law in the conventional sense for over 21 years at two well-respected construction law firms regularly handling matters for dozens of clients, Jason welcomed the opportunity to transition in-house to solely focus on the needs of Crisdel, a client he had served as outside counsel for his entire career. With rejuvenated passion, Jason embarks on this phase of his career motivated to support the growth, prosperity and longevity of Crisdel and to further cement Crisdel’s reputation as an innovator and leader in the industry.

As Equipment and Facilities Manager, Joe Vaughan is responsible for all aspects of equipment management and facilities maintenance for all of Crisdel’s assets across all of its locations. In addition to those duties, Joe oversees logistical controls for the NJ, NY and PA operations.

Mr. Vaughan is a seasoned veteran of the construction industry having accumulated over 25 years of experience. Joe began his career at Crisdel in 2001, while attending college, working as a driver and shop helper. He quickly rose through the ranks and held many positions along the way as Assistant Shop Foreman, Logistics Coordinator and Health & Safety Administrator. In addition to his professional employment credentials, Joe has earned training certifications including, but not limited to OSHA 10, OSHA 30, CPR and First Aid with AED, confined space, rigging, trenching and excavation, traffic control, pipeline awareness, aerial lift and forklift operations.

Joe takes pride in being an integral part of the team responsible for maintaining the fleet of Crisdel Blue equipment and vehicles and ensuring that all equipment maintenance staff and field personal have the tools and supplies they need to perform their duties safely and efficient.

A highlight of Joe’s career is that he had the opportunity to serve as a volunteer, alongside other Crisdel employees and emergency first responders, at the World Trade Center just days after the attack on September 11, 2001. This experience gave Joe newfound purpose to volunteer his time for charitable purposes and led to him organizing a team of fellow employees to raise money on an annual basis for Folds of Honor. Folds of Honor is a non-profit charitable organization that provides educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members.

Although he is a self-motivated person, Mr. Vaughan credits his success on others and not himself. Joe strongly believes that having a company culture where employees thrive on helping others is the key to success.

As Vice President of Construction, Bill Weaver is responsible for the management of construction projects at Crisdel, including, but not limited to hiring, mentoring employees, staffing of projects, overseeing project management teams, scheduling and upholding company standards by promoting quality work in all aspects of construction and project management.

Bill is a lifelong veteran of the construction industry, having accumulating over 50 years of experience in asphalt paving, highway, road and sitework construction. Bill began his construction career at the age of sixteen, working summers during high school. After graduating Westwood High School, Bill began working full time in construction with a plan to make a career out of it.

Bill has worked his way through the ranks at Crisdel by serving in various capacities including; Assistant Project Superintendent, Estimator, Project Superintendent, General Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Executive and in his current role as Vice President of Construction.

Bill has been a member of the Heavy and General Construction Laborers, Local 472, for over thirty years and has earned a certificate for Asphalt Paving Construction Technologist from the New Jersey Society of Asphalt Technologists.

Outside of work, Bill enjoys working on his golf scores, playing pickle ball, and enjoying the beach life with family and friends at the New Jersey Shore and in Key West, Florida. He is an active church member in both locales as an usher, and a member of Caregiver Volunteers helping elderly and disabled people navigate life’s challenges.

Bill is not only proud that he has been an integral part in instilling and maintaining a culture of dedication, hard work, good values and camaraderie that is the hallmark of Crisdel’s success but equally as proud that he has been part of the recognition that he, and Crisdel, has received from customers and peers in the construction industry.
